Philadelphia Children’s Theatre (PCT) is proud to present the beloved children’s classic story “Sylvester and The Magic Pebble” by author William Steig. Performances are held at The Ethical Society building located at 1906 South Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA. “Sylvester and The Magic Pebble” is scheduled to run Friday matinees at 10 AM and Saturday matinees at 11 AM. Performance dates are 4/4, 4/5, 4/11, 4/12, 4/18, 4/19, 4/25, 4/26, 5/2, 5/3, 5/9, 5/10. Tickets are $10.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Children/Seniors. Discounted group rates for 20 or more are available at $7.00 per ticket for children AND adults call now!! **Friday performances are immediately followed by a 45 minute “Project Play” workshop, call to reserve your spot. The Story of “Sylvester and The Magic Pebble”: When a young donkey named Sylvester Duncan finds a magic pebble that make wishes come true, he thinks all his prayers have been answered. But a wish made in haste makes Sylvester and everyone that loves him come to understand the true meaning of wealth. Drama, music and dance make this story a beautiful experience that should not be missed! Best suited for ages 1 to 8 yr. olds.
